Q. What is 'active folate'?
Regular folate must be converted through several steps before your body can use it. Active folate is already that final form, so your body uses it right away.

Q. Is it vegetarian / vegan friendly?
Yes. The iron is plant-derived (curry leaf), the capsule is vegetable (HPMC), and it's Vegan & Halal certified.

Calcium, magnesium, zinc and other cationic minerals interfere with iron absorption, take at least 2 hours apart.
Green tea, black tea and anticonvulsants interfere with folate absorption, take at least 2 hours apart.
